“The day you stop racing, is the day you win the race” – Bob Marley
Most of us move at an unsustainable pace. Juggling life, work, family, tech and lots more. A rhythm created in hopes of completing our interminable task list and reaching often unrealistic goals. This lifestyle proves unmanageable and results in anxiety, underwhelm and exasperation.
If that is the case, why not find a better way. Where we determine what pace truly serves us. Defining realistic timeframes and boundaries so that we can self-correct and reroute. Where pausing to make an adjustment is common-place and results in successes and celebrations. Ultimately resulting in us being more present, listening deeply and for actually getting off autopilot to enjoy the meaningful moments that abound.
Today, take a minute to check your pace. Is it working for you or against all that you desire? What adjustment can you make to course correct? Find a pause. A way to allow yourself to truly enjoy the work you are doing, the time you are spending with others and the life you are so fortunate to be living. That is how you’ll win your race.
